Victory Baptist Church is blessed to have a leadership team who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. Following are brief bio's of our leadership team and their qualifications for ministry.
Jamie is an active member at Terrell Baptist Church in Worth County, where she serves in various roles. She has been a ministry assistant for over 6yrs, and brings to Victory Baptist a heart for serving the church as well as the people in it. She is a mother of 4 grown children, one of which has blessed her with 2 grandboys.
Jay Kimbro was called to serve as Victory Baptist Church's Senior Pastor December 2, 2018. Prior to that, he served as Associate Pastor of Discipleship at Trinity Baptist Church in Apopka, FL.
The attributes that best describe Pastor Jay as a pastor are strong preaching, leadership development and evangelist/soul winner. He has expressed a burning desire to lead a church like Victory Baptist Church where biblical views are embraced and encouraged, with members who care about the needs of those around them and who want to connect others to the body of Christ. Pastor Jay takes worship and preaching very seriously, spending the first hours of his day focused on Bible study.
He is a graduate of The University of West Florida in Pensacola, FL and the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX.
Pastor Jay has been happily married for 41 years to his wife, Tina. They have 3 grown children, all happily married and 10 grandchildren.
